Iorveth is an elven commander of the Scoia’tael, the guerrilla fighters who take up arms for the rights of elves, dwarves and other non-humans in the human-ruled North. He is disciplined, charismatic and ruthless, and he has no patience for those who ask him to be reasonable about a world that has treated his people harshly. He is easy to recognize by the missing eye and the scar across his face.

He is best known from The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, where he leads the Scoia’tael in the forests around Flotsam and Vergen and stands as a rival to Vernon Roche. Depending on the player’s choice, Geralt can side with either of them, which sends the story down very different paths. Iorveth is not simply a villain or a hero. He is a man defined by the cause he has chosen and the price he is willing to pay for it.
