A Frying Pan, Spick and Span is a small secondary quest in White Orchard, and a nice reminder that a witcher’s life is not all griffins and wraiths. Plenty of people imagine an endless stream of contracts on exotic beasts, but in reality Geralt often ends up doing much more ordinary jobs, the kind bards never sing about.
In this case, a woman by the river northwest of White Orchard has lost her frying pan and asks Geralt to find it. Using his witcher senses, he follows the trail and tracks it down. It is a tiny quest with a tiny reward, some baked apples, bread and apple juice, but it does a great job of showing the everyday side of Geralt’s world, and it is hard not to smile at the sight of the White Wolf solemnly investigating kitchenware.
