Ewald Borsodi is the younger son of Maximilian Borsodi and brother of Horst Borsodi. He was his father’s favorite and the heir to the Borsody Auction House, but his gambling and extravagant lifestyle gave Horst the chance to have him disinherited and cut out of the family.
In Hearts of Stone, Ewald wants to rob his brother’s vault, and he needs Geralt’s help. Together they gather a crew for the heist in Open Sesame!, recruiting a safecracker and an explosives expert, and slip into the auction house during a grand auction. The job does not end the way Ewald hopes.
