Horst Borsodi is the elder son of Maximilian Borsodi and owner of the Borsody Auction House. He has a reputation as a snob and a self-important fool, yet under his leadership the family gained the favor of King Radovid V, and friends at court made sure Redanian soldiers guarded the auction house.
Horst and his brother Ewald never got along, and Horst eventually had Ewald disinherited. In Hearts of Stone his heavily guarded vault is the target of the heist in Open Sesame!, one of the wishes Geralt must grant for Olgierd von Everec.
