Duck, Duck, Goosed! is a Blood and Wine secondary quest set in the Land of a Thousand Fables during Beyond Hill and Dale…. Balbina the goose posted a notice on the fable world’s notice board, feeling that someone was watching her and meant her harm. Since time runs differently in this realm, Geralt can take the job without worrying about his business in Toussaint.
A kidnapped goose
Balbina’s small hut lies to the south, near the Vizima dragon. Plucked feathers scattered in front of it point to a struggle. Follow them into the woods, where pixies may attack. After a short walk, Syanna spots the camp of Redbeard, a bandit who wanted to force the goose to lay eggs of precious metal for him.
Freeing Balbina
Kill Redbeard and his band. Although they look like dwarves, they are illusions of the fable world, so the steel sword is not the right tool. Take the cage key from Redbeard’s body and let Balbina out. In thanks, she lays a golden egg for Geralt.
