Protofleder

The protofleder is the primitive ancestor of the fleder, a lesser vampire. It only appears in Blood and Wine, in the strange caves of Hen Gàidh in Toussaint, where a gate to the world of vampires once opened and closed. Protofleders glow red, and the light dies out when they are killed.

Combat strategy

Drink Black Blood and apply Vampire oil. Protofleders are fast and come in groups inside the cramped caves, so keep Quen up and fight with your back to a wall.
