Overview
Spoontaneous Profits! is a Blood and Wine treasure hunt that becomes available once the main quest reaches La Cage au Fou. It starts with an odd find in the Trastamara Estate Ruins, the same house where Geralt lifts the curse of the spotted wight.
The spoon key
Search the estate until you find a key shaped like a spoon. The note tied to it points to The Pheasantry in western Beauclair. The innkeeper there has no idea what the key opens, but she suggests looking in the inn’s cellar, where earlier owners left behind some strange belongings.
The cookbook
In the cellar lies the cookbook of a former owner, which reveals the final destination: the Danamebi Temple ruins, north-northeast of Basane Farm. Steps on the north side of the ruins lead down to a locked door that the spoon key opens.
The treasure
The room holds several shelves worth looting, and the chest in the middle completes the quest. When Geralt leaves, a beann’shie may appear near the entrance, sometimes far enough away that the fight can be avoided.
