Contract: Deadly Delights is a witcher contract in Novigrad. Members of the city watch have been disappearing under murky circumstances, and the notice board makes it clear that keeping the peace is not the guards’ only problem. Geralt takes the job.
The clues lead him into Harborside and to a house of ill repute near Crippled Kate’s, where, as so often in such places, more than lovemaking is going on. The culprit is Salma, a succubus, a demon-like being who feeds on desire and whose victims usually die happy. Geralt has dealt with succubi before, and he knows they are not always the villains of the story.
How the contract ends is up to the player. Geralt can kill the succubus and bring back proof, or talk to her and let her go, depending on what he learns about the dead guards. Either way, it is one of the more unusual contracts in Novigrad, and a good reminder that the city’s worst dangers are not always the ones hunted by the witch hunters.
