Thanedd Island is a massive, sheer rock fortress island jutting out of the sea just off the coast of Gors Velen in Temeria. Serving as the ultimate epicenter of magical education and political power in the Continent, the island features three main structures: the harbor docks of Aretuza, the central palace of Garstang, and the highest elven tower, Tor Lara. It is historically infamous for the bloody Thanedd Coup, a violent betrayal among the mages that shattered the Brotherhood and triggered the second Northern War.
