Overview
Cabaret is a secondary quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It starts at the Rosemary and Thyme in Novigrad after Geralt rescues Dandelion from the Temple Guard. It fails if not completed before The Isle of Mists.
A staged robbery
Dandelion needs money to turn his inn into the cabaret he has always dreamed of. His plan to get a loan from a wealthy woman named Sophronia: Geralt poses as a brigand and threatens her, and Dandelion rescues her like a hero. Geralt fetches a prop sword from Madame Irina’s troupe, familiar from The Play’s the Thing, and meets Dandelion after dusk. He gets a script of overwrought lines and can either beat Dandelion in the mock fight or let him win. Letting him win pays better, and parrying keeps you from taking damage.
Builders, a choreographer and placards
The next morning Priscilla and a team of dwarven builders are at the inn. Geralt chooses a theatrical or a boudoir style (Dandelion prefers theatrical), or lets Priscilla decide. Dandelion, meanwhile, is outside the house of their choreographer Polly, whose fiancé Hubio will not let her work for him. Geralt finds the key and either beats Hubio or makes him listen. What happens affects whether Polly and Hubio stay together.
Finally Geralt must collect placards from the halfling artist Henri Rautlec in Silverton. Debt collectors are robbing his house and pick a fistfight. Win or lose, they send Geralt to the horse races near Vegelbud Residence. There Geralt can pay Rautlec’s debt, win a race for him, or give up on the placards.
Opening night
Back at the inn, now renamed the Chameleon, Dandelion shows off his cabaret. The celebration is cut short when a messenger brings news that Priscilla has been attacked. That begins Carnal Sins.
