Rosemary and Thyme stands in Novigrad’s Glory Lane district, along the southeastern edge of the city, just across the bridge from the Gate of the Hierarch. It began life as a brothel, run by Alonso Wiley, better known as Whoreson Senior, a patron of the arts and a devoted fan of Dandelion’s poetry. When he died, he left the place to the bard, and Dandelion invited his old friend Zoltan Chivay to run it with him as a tavern.

When Geralt arrives during Broken Flowers, Dandelion has vanished and a group of vagrants has moved in. Geralt and Zoltan throw them out, and a search through the house turns up Dandelion’s planner, a list of the women he had been seeing and the first real trail to Ciri. After Dandelion is rescued from the Temple Guard, he renames the place the Chameleon and turns it into a cabaret and tavern, and the finished look depends on choices the player made earlier.

It is one of the game’s most cheerful hubs, tied to quests like A Dangerous Game, Cabaret and Gwent: Old Pals, and it keeps Zoltan, Dandelion and Geralt in the same room, which never hurts.
