Tamara is the daughter of Phillip Strenger, the Bloody Baron, and Anna Strenger. Her childhood was shaped by her father’s drinking and rages. She remembers hiding under her bed while he broke furniture and beat her mother, and she was glad whenever war took him away from home. One of her few happy memories is a day by the river Ina, laughing with her mother.

Flight from Crow’s Perch

At nineteen, Tamara had quietly turned to the Eternal Fire. After a violent quarrel left her mother injured and miscarrying, the two fled Crow’s Perch. During the escape, a monster dragged Anna into Crookback Bog. Tamara reached Oxenfurt and joined the witch hunters, hoping they would help her find her mother.

In The Witcher 3

In Family Matters, Geralt finds Tamara in Oxenfurt, where she flatly refuses to return to her father. Under the witch hunter Graden, she later rides to the bog in Return to Crookback Bog. What she finds there depends on Geralt’s earlier choices, but either way it is no happy reunion: her mother is lost, or lives only long enough to say goodbye and ask Tamara to remember their day on the Ina.
