An Invitation from Keira Metz

Overview

An Invitation from Keira Metz is a secondary quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It opens up after Geralt finishes everything tied to the main quest Hunting a Witch. It is optional, but it starts the chain that decides Keira Metz‘s fate. It fails if not completed before The Isle of Mists.

At Keira’s hut

Geralt finds Keira at her hut just north of Midcopse in Velen, talking to a spirit through the magic lamp they found together. She fills him in on current events, the troubles of the Lodge of Sorceresses and how the lamp works.

Then she gets to the point. A curse hangs over Fyke Isle in the middle of Lake Wyndamer, and it seems linked to Vserad, the lord who ruled the area before the Nilfgaardian invasion. She wants Geralt to lift it.

What Geralt gets

Keira hands over the magic lamp, which lets Geralt talk to spirits for the rest of the game, and a Xenovox so she can reach him over long distances. She also lends him her boat, moored on the lake shore. Ending the conversation completes this quest and starts A Towerful of Mice.
