Overview
Big Game Hunter is a Blood and Wine witcher contract. The notice “Wanted: The White Wolf” asks for Geralt by name. The employer is Count Beledal, a wealthy nobleman from Kovir camped near Chuchote Cave, who wants to record images of wildlife for his daughter Clarissa. He agrees to any fee Geralt names. The trek only happens by day, and fast travel is disabled while Geralt escorts him.
The panthers
Read the count’s map to see three areas. At the panther site, a bear may appear; the count does not want it harmed, so keep your distance and it will leave. Farther on, a panther is caught in a bear trap, with her cub nearby. Calm her with Axii before opening the trap, or she will attack.
The giant centipedes
At either of the two centipede areas, Witcher Senses pick up the sound of burrowing. Choose a safe vantage point for the count (the southern one), then lure the giant centipedes out with Aard or a bomb on the nests. Do not attack them. The safest option is to throw a bomb from the vantage point and wait.
The peacocks
Finally, the count wants to see peacocks spread their tails, though the mating season is long over. Find an odorous peacock feather, follow the trail, and use Axii on three birds. As the count records the scene, a centipede that followed them from the nest attacks. Kill it.
The exhibition
Back at camp, Beledal’s men reveal that his daughter is disabled, which is why he travels the world gathering images for her. The count pays and invites Geralt to his exhibition at Francollarts the next day around noon. There he gives Geralt the painting The White Wolf, by Count Beledal, to hang at Corvo Bianco. Asking about his daughter counts as a Proof of Compassion for There Can Be Only One, but only if the panther was freed unharmed.
