A Dark Legacy

Overview

A Dark Legacy is a treasure hunt in Hearts of Stone, set at the Arnskrone Castle Ruins in Deadwight Wood. It can only be started by winning Count Romilly’s figurine at the auction in Open Sesame!. This is the only chance to get it.

What happens

Take the figurine to any craftsman and have it dismantled. Inside are Count Romilly’s will and an ornate key, and the will points to a treasure beneath Arnskrone.

If you have not been to the ruins yet, an ancient leshen and a pack of wolves are waiting, and you can pick up The Secret Life of Count Romilly at the same time. In the cellar, wraiths attack. The chest is through the left door and around the corner behind you.

Walkthrough

  1. Win Count Romilly’s figurine at the Borsodi auction.
  2. Have a craftsman dismantle it for the will and the ornate key.
  3. Travel to the Arnskrone Castle Ruins in Deadwight Wood.
  4. Go down to the cellar and defeat the wraiths.
  5. Open the chest through the left door.
