Sarah is a godling, a small, childlike spirit, who has been living secretly in a house in Novigrad. When the banker Rudolf de Jonkheer buys the place, she scares him with giggling, moving furniture and a few unpleasant surprises in the parlor. When the oneiromancer Corinne Tilly comes to investigate, Sarah traps her in nightmares, which she considers the best kind of dream.
In The Witcher 3
In Haunted House, Geralt finds Sarah hiding in the oven in the basement and has her release Corinne. Then he decides her fate:
- Drive her out. Sarah leaves and eventually meets the godling Johnny in Velen. The two become friends, and when Geralt sees them again at Bald Mountain, Johnny forgives him because otherwise they would never have met.
- Let her stay. Geralt tells the banker the haunting cannot be stopped. Sarah and Corinne end up living together, and Sarah greets Geralt again when he and Avallac’h use the portal in Corinne’s basement.
