Albin Hart is a scavenger in war-torn Velen. Like many poor men in 1272, he makes ends meet by looting the bodies of soldiers left on the battlefields, a grim and dangerous trade in a land crawling with necrophages. His brother-in-law is a shady merchant who deals in forged travel passes.

Geralt meets Albin in Bitter Harvest. If the witcher helps him deal with the monsters feeding on the dead, Albin rewards him, and his brother-in-law offers a discount on a counterfeit pass, which ties into Fake Papers and Thou Shalt Not Pass. If Geralt does not help, the necrophages prove too much for Albin, and he dies among the corpses he came to rob.
