When he is alone with the two sorceresses, they surprise him. They know exactly what he has done, and, they say, they are fine with it. They care about each other and about him, so why fight it? To celebrate the start of this new arrangement, they have planned a romantic evening for the three of them at the Kingfisher.

Players who have seen the scene know that it does not end the way Geralt hopes. It is one of the funniest, most talked-about moments in The Witcher 3, and a perfectly fitting punishment for a man who tried to have it both ways. As Dandelion would say, never keep two irons in the fire.
