Overview
Wine Wars: Belgaard is a two-part Blood and Wine secondary quest and the hub of the Wine Wars questline. It starts from a notice on almost any board in Toussaint, or by meeting the rivals at Plegmund’s Bridge.
First part
At the bridge, Liam and Matilda are arguing over who gets to buy the Belgaard Vineyard. Liam, of Coronata, asks for help in Wine Wars: Coronata. Matilda, of Vermentino, asks for help in Wine Wars: Vermentino. Each accuses the other of sabotage, but Geralt can help both.
Who gets Belgaard
- Help only one and report back first: that vintner becomes the sole owner, and the feud never ends.
- Help both without looking into the sabotage: they grudgingly run Belgaard together.
- Help both and finish Wine Wars: The Deus in the Machina first: they learn the truth and gladly become partners. Any remaining tasks merge into Wine Wars: Consorting.
Second part
Whoever owns Belgaard asks for more help with five problems around the estate:
- An infestation of endregas northeast of Belgaard Manor, with a nest to destroy.
- Two giant centipedes guarding a treasure west of Gélenser Farm.
- Belgaard’s blacksmith, held captive by five bandits on the beach north-northeast of the Termes Palace ruins.
- A giant centipede nest northeast of Tesham Mutna and southeast of Francollarts.
- A lone slyzard at the abandoned site of Tilly Field, southeast of Hortense Vineyard.
Return to Belgaard for payment. If the feud was settled, the partners ask Geralt to come back in three days. They have created a new wine and let him name it: Geralt of Rivia, White Wolf, or Butcher of Blaviken, the last of which gives better regeneration.
