Overview
The Soldier Statuette is a secondary quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, set in Novigrad. It is easy to miss: the figurine can only be picked up in Caesar Bilzen’s secret collection during A Dangerous Game. It can be done alongside The Nobleman Statuette, and fails if not completed before Geralt talks to Ciri about the Lodge meeting in Final Preparations.
What happens
The jade soldier from Bilzen’s cupboard gives off magic, and Geralt senses it might matter. He brings it to Triss at her hideout. She casts a decompression spell, and the figurine becomes a Nilfgaardian soldier whom the sorceress Coral transformed in the middle of a battle many years before. It is not a great revelation, but it is a curious one.
Timing
If Triss has already left Novigrad after Now or Never, the quest will not appear until she can be found again after Blindingly Obvious.
