Grandmaster Forgotten Wolven Steel Sword

The Grandmaster Forgotten Wolven Steel Sword is the grandmaster steel blade of the Forgotten Wolf School gear, a newer Wolf School set added to The Witcher 3 with the next-gen update (patch 4.0). Its headline bonus is +7% Sign intensity.

Compared with the Mastercrafted Forgotten Wolven Steel Sword, base damage rises from 286-350 to 335-409. This is the top of the line. Three pieces make potions last longer, 7% more for each piece worn, and six pieces make Aard deal extra damage to enemies caught in Yrden.

How to obtain

Craft

Crafted by a grandmaster blacksmith at character level 40. The recipe consumes the Mastercrafted Forgotten Wolven Steel Sword. All mastercrafted and grandmaster diagrams for the set come from the same pair of notes in Kaer Morhen, read during Scavenger Hunt: Forgotten Wolf School Gear Diagrams. The grandmaster version needs Blood and Wine, since only the grandmaster craftsmen in Toussaint can make it.
