The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Pick a region and start exploring. Every map is hand-illustrated by us and filled with markers you can filter: signposts, Places of Power, witcher gear diagrams, treasure, monster nests, merchants, gwent players and quests, each with a short note and links to the rest of the wiki.

How the maps work

Each map opens on a hand-drawn overview of the region. Zoom in with the mouse wheel or by pinching, and click any marker to see what it is, a short tip and links to the matching pages on Witcher Saga, from locations and quests to monsters and witcher schools. The buttons above each map switch categories on and off, so you can show only gwent players, only Places of Power or only treasure. Cave entrances and crafting spots start hidden to keep things tidy.

The maps are illustrations, not copies of the in-game map. Coastlines, rivers and roads are drawn by us and only approximate, but the markers sit where they do in the game, so they work just as well as a checklist while you play.

Which map should I open?

  • Just started the game? The White Orchard map covers the prologue, where six Places of Power give you an early pile of skill points.
  • Hunting gwent cards or witcher gear? The Velen & Novigrad map has the most of both.
  • Sailing the isles? The Skellige map shows every harbor and smugglers’ cache.
  • Back home with the wolves? The Kaer Morhen map covers the whole valley around the keep.
  • Playing Blood and Wine? The Toussaint map includes side quests, contracts and Grandmaster gear.

Frequently asked questions

Are the maps free to use?

Yes. They run right in your browser on desktop and mobile, with no account and nothing to install.

Is there a map for Hearts of Stone?

Hearts of Stone takes place in Velen and Novigrad, so its locations are part of the Velen & Novigrad map.

Will there be maps for other Witcher games?

Right now the maps cover The Witcher 3. We would love to add more regions over time, so keep an eye on this page.
