Overview
Open Sesame: Breaking and Entering is a main quest in Hearts of Stone and one of three preparations for the heist in Open Sesame!. The crew needs a break-in artist to get into the auction house from above.
Hugo Hoff
The Stranger’s first suggestion is Hugo Hoff in Oxenfurt. There is blood by his door, and footprints lead to the river, where three thugs are waiting. Their bodies carry a note and Hugo’s ear, and a dive into the water confirms the rest: Hugo is dead. Checking on him is optional, but it earns some extra XP.
Eveline Gallo
The real recruit is Eveline Gallo, an acrobat with a traveling circus camped west of the Vegelbud Residence, northwest of Carsten. When Geralt arrives she is arguing with her colleague Meryn. One of their performers cannot go on, and they have already spent the ticket money, so they cannot refund the audience.
Eveline will join the heist either way, but Geralt has to help first. He can step into the show and shoot four apples held by Meryn, or pay for the refunds himself, which costs more if Meryn stays for the conversation.
