Gorthur Gvaed is the ancient, heavily fortified canyon fortress of the Witcher School of the Viper, hidden deep within the volcanic mountains of Tir Tochair. Known for its dark, ruthless atmosphere, the keep historically specialized in political assassination, dual-wielding blade combat, and extensive libraries on the Wild Hunt. The fortress was eventually sacked and razed to the ground by the Nilfgaardian army, leaving behind a smoking, haunted ruin that birthed the wanderings of Kingslayers like Letho of Gulet.
