Kaer Almhult is a desolate, black stone fortress built on a small, isolated island in the far western reaches of the Skellige sea. Formerly a proud stronghold of a minor Skellige clan, the island was seized by a brutal network of international pirates and slave traders who turned the castle into a heavily fortified penal colony. The ruins feature flooded stone arenas, rusted iron cages, and a high observation tower, serving as a high-danger zone filled with aggressive bandits.
