Rock Troll
Rock trolls are big, slow ogroids that live near rocks and bridges in Velen and Skellige. Not every troll attacks on sight: some can be talked to, and a few quests are solved with words rather than steel. Relatives are the Ice Troll and the Rabid Rock Troll.
Combat strategy
A troll’s blows are heavy but slow. Keep Quen up, dodge to the side and use fast attacks. Its thick skin makes the steel sword feel weak, so use the right oil.
