Overview
Worthy of Trust is a secondary quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, set on Ard Skellig in the Skellige Isles. Its journal entry only appears once the quest is fully completed.
The loan
On the docks at Kaer Trolde Harbor, a man calling himself Johann Bohner says he was shipwrecked and needs money to get home to Novigrad. He asks Geralt for 150 crowns and promises to repay every copper if the witcher visits him in Novigrad’s port district.
The juggler
About a day later Geralt runs into him again at the trading post between Kaer Trolde Harbor and the Crossroads signpost, now claiming to be a wandering juggler from occupied Temeria. Under questioning he admits he is a swindler and begs Geralt not to hand him to the jarl, promising to repay the money with interest.
Turning him in or attacking him leads to a fight, and the 150 crowns can be taken from his body. Letting him go gets Geralt a small payment on the spot.
Patience pays
If Geralt lets him go, the man shows up a day later in Fyresdal and actually keeps his word, repaying the loan with interest. In total, trusting him earns Geralt more than he lent.
