They are needed to craft the enhanced Ursine boots, so keep them if you plan to follow the Bear line to the end.

Crafted by a journeyman armorer from the basic Ursine boots diagram. They require character level 20.

The basic Ursine armor diagrams sit in a single chest in the castle ruins near Yngvar’s Fang on An Skellig in Skellige. Work your way through the dungeon under the ruins, pull the lever for the cell doors and blast the rocks with Aard to reach the room with the chest.
