Ekimmara is a 4-strength Close Combat unit with Muster, so any same-name copies in your deck are played along with it. Keep Biting Frost in mind, though: it drops every non-hero unit in Close Combat to 1 strength, on both sides.
Buy it from the innkeep in Svorlag on Spikeroog. Only one copy exists, and it’s needed for Collect ‘Em All.
Monsters decks also have a useful perk: after each round, one random unit of yours stays on the battlefield.
