Iron Ingot
The iron ingot is the most basic metal bar in The Witcher 3. It is cheap, sold by every blacksmith and armorer, and mostly used as the stepping stone to steel.
Where to get it: Random loot, dismantling, any blacksmith or armorer, or smelt it from iron ore.
Crafting: 2 × iron ore, made by any blacksmith or armorer.
Get it by dismantling: Forgotten Vran Sword, Headtaker, Iris, Mourner, Ultimatum.
