Bears are powerful beasts found across the game, from White Orchard and Velen to Skellige, the Kaer Morhen valley and Toussaint. Variants include black bears, cave bears and polar bears in Skellige. A bear hits hard and can knock Geralt down.
In Skellige the bear also lives on in the werebear legends.
Combat strategy
Keep Quen up and dodge its swipes. Bears are slow to turn, so attack from the side and back.
