Ice Giant

The legendary Ice Giant is a colossal, ancient humanoid entity that represents one of the final remaining post-Conjunction titans on the Continent. This massive monster single-handedly devastated the entire island ecosystem of Undvik on Skellige, wiping out the prosperous Clan Tordarroch shipyards and driving the surviving human population into permanent exile. The giant has turned the island into a desolate, frozen wasteland filled with bone piles, controlling aggressive harpies and building defensive structures from the shattered hulls of ruined longships.

Combat strategy

The Ice Giant possesses immense physical health and deals devastating, unblockable area-of-effect damage using massive anchors or iron clubs. Geralt must stay exceptionally mobile, dodging his sweeping strikes rather than parrying. The monster is highly susceptible to the Quen Sign to absorb stray hits, and fire-based attacks like the Igni Sign or Dragon’s Dream bombs work perfectly against his frost-hardened hide. Apply Ogroid Oil to your silver blade.
