Tedd Deireadh, The Final Age is the last main quest of The Witcher 3’s story, before the epilogue. Eredin’s final words are still ringing in Geralt’s ears. Did Avallac’h betray them? Is Ciri still in danger? Wounded and exhausted, Geralt and Yennefer plunge back into the chaos on Undvik to find her.
It turns out Avallac’h was not a traitor, although he was not entirely honest either. Ciri went with him of her own free will, determined to do something only she can: stop the White Frost, the cataclysm that threatens to end every world. She knew Geralt would never let her try, so she did it behind his back.
Geralt and Yennefer fight their way to the elven tower of Tor Gvalch’ca, where the fabric of the world is tearing apart and monsters pour through rifts from other places: ice giants, forktails, cyclopes, arachasae, earth and fire elementals. At the top, Geralt reaches Ciri just before she walks into the Frost. There is nothing left to do but say goodbye, and what happens next depends on everything that came before.
