Novigrad Hospitality

Overview

Novigrad Hospitality is a secondary quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, found on the roadside just west of Yantra, between Yantra and Sarrasin Grange in the countryside around Novigrad.

A drink with the bards

Two bards, Victor and Gascoigne, are sitting by the road talking about art. They invite Geralt to join them. Say no, or leave after the first round of drinks that lasts until nightfall, and nothing more happens. The quest does not even appear in the journal.

Stay for one more, and Geralt wakes up the next day with nothing but his trousers.

Getting your gear back

The empty bottles tell part of the story, but the tracks nearby are what matter. They lead to Yantra, where the two bards are hiding behind a hut, discussing how to sell the witcher’s gear. They beg forgiveness. Geralt can simply take his things back, or take their belongings too and leave them standing in their underwear.

Walkthrough

  1. Join Victor and Gascoigne on the road west of Yantra.
  2. Have one more drink when night falls.
  3. Wake up without your gear and follow the tracks to Yantra.
  4. Find the bards behind a hut and take your things back (and theirs, if you like).
