Overview
Collect ‘Em All is a secondary quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and one of the hardest non-combat quests in the game. The goal is to own every unique gwent card, which also unlocks the Card Collector achievement. Cards come from White Orchard, Vizima, Velen, Novigrad, the Skellige Isles and Kaer Morhen.
What you need
There are 199 cards in the base game, and 120 unique ones count toward the quest. The rest are duplicates, such as the three Ghoul cards. The unique cards are spread across the Northern Realms, Nilfgaard, Monsters and Scoia’tael decks, plus neutral cards. Cards come from merchants, from winning matches, and from named players in the gwent quests. After beating a certain number of ordinary merchants, they stop giving new cards. The book A Miraculous Guide to Gwent helps track what is still missing.
Missable cards
- Win the full tournament at the ball in A Matter of Life and Death.
- Complete A Deadly Plot. The man you rescue is a strong player with one of the best cards in the game.
- Take the cards as your reward in A Dangerous Game.
- Win every match in High Stakes.
- Do Shock Therapy for the Iorveth card.
- Free the Claywich merchant held captive southeast of Boatmakers’ Hut and buy all his cards. He is buggy, so save before opening the cage.
- Play Lambert as early as you can.
Since patch 1.05 there are fail-safes for many players who become unavailable, but it is still safest to play everyone as soon as possible.
