As the introductory region of the Nilfgaardian invasion, the area is occupied by imperial forces who have established a garrison in the ruins of a local keep. The local population is deeply resentful of their occupiers, and the battlefields surrounding the village are fresh, attracting necrophagous monsters and leaving the war-torn community in a state of grim, desperate suspense.
