Ardal is the most respected and influential of the Bloody Baron‘s men at Crow’s Perch. He fought beside Phillip Strenger in the war, and when their unit was cut to pieces by Nilfgaard, the survivors took Crow’s Perch and made themselves the rulers of the region. They keep order, but they also bully and brutalize the locals.

Ardal is around for much of Family Matters; he is the one who bursts in chasing Uma and hustles the creature out of the room. He is also the reigning champion of Velen’s fistfighting circuit, and beating him is part of Fists of Fury: Velen.
If the Baron leaves Crow’s Perch or hangs himself, Ardal takes charge, and his rule is even harsher than his master’s.
