Moon Rune
The Moon rune is a rune in The Witcher 2 that is set into a free upgrade slot on a sword. It adds 4 to the damage bonus on Signs, so it suits players who rely on magic alongside swordplay.
It weighs 0.2 and has a base value of 150 orens. Since it is sold by many merchants across the game, it is one of the easier runes to get hold of.
How to obtain
It is sold by Falas, Lockhart, Polycarp of Rinde, Thorak, the arena merchant, the blacksmith's helper (Chapter 2) and the Mysterious Merchant (Chapters 1-3). It can also be crafted from the Diagram: Moon rune, sold by Lockhart, Thorak and the blacksmith's helper (Chapters 1 and 2), using 1 Essence of water, 1 Elemental stone and 4 Diamond dust.
