Whirl
Whirl is a blade oil in The Witcher 2 that increases the damage of a coated sword against any kind of enemy, with a 1.05 damage multiplier. Its effect lasts 300 seconds.
Because it works on every opponent, it is a good fallback when you do not know what you will face. Oils made for a specific enemy type are usually stronger, so Whirl is best used when no targeted oil fits the fight.
How to obtain
Sold by the arena merchant. It can also be made from Formula: Whirl using Vitriol, Aether, Rebis and Caelum; the formula is sold by Bartok, Marcus, Myron and Felicia Cori (Chapters 2 and 3).
