Arachnid Oil
Arachnid Oil is a blade oil in The Witcher 2 that coats Geralt’s sword with poison. Once applied, each hit has a 30% chance to poison the target, so it works against any foe that is not resistant to poison.
It has a duration value of 300 and does nothing to creatures immune to poisoning, so check the enemy before relying on it.
How to obtain
It is sold by the arena merchant. It can also be brewed from Formula: Arachnid Oil with Rebis, Quebrith, Hydragenum and Vermilion; the formula is sold by Felicia Cori (Chapters 2 and 3), Fioravanti, Lockhart and Myron.
