Amethyst Armor Enhancement
The Amethyst armor enhancement is an upgrade in The Witcher 2 that goes into a free armor upgrade slot. It adds 1 point of damage reduction and 5 points of Vitality, making Geralt a little tougher overall.
It weighs 0.2. Where the Runic armor enhancement leans toward Signs, this one is a plain survivability boost suited to any build.
How to obtain
Sold by the arena merchant. It can also be crafted from Diagram: Amethyst armor enhancement using 5 Amethyst dust, 2 Twine and 2 Oil; Falas, Lasota, Mael, Polycarp of Rinde and Sendler sell the diagram.
