Elsa keeps the inn at White Orchard. When Nilfgaard overruns the village, she takes down the Temerian lilies from her wall so the soldiers will not burn the place, and for that some of her neighbors call her “Nilfgaard’s whore”.

In The Witcher 3

In Lilac and Gooseberries, Geralt and Vesemir stop at her inn after saving her cousin Bram. She has not seen Yennefer and sends them to ask the other guests.

In the scene known as The Incident at White Orchard, another woman attacks Elsa over the missing lilies and slams her head against the counter. When the witchers step in, local men take them for Nilfgaardian collaborators and refuse to back down, and it ends in a massacre. Terrified, Elsa orders them out and never to return.

She leaves the village soon afterward. In Novigrad, during Broken Flowers, she spots Geralt at the Kingfisher after Priscilla’s performance and loudly accuses him of murdering “those Temerian boys”, though the audience mostly finds her a nuisance. She eventually settles in a place called Rustone.
