Few plain units hit as hard as the Black Infantry Archer. It puts 10 strength on the Ranged Combat row with no ability attached, which makes it one of the best non-hero cards in the Nilfgaardian deck. Because it is not a hero, weather and Scorch can still hurt it. Its main threat is Impenetrable Fog, which drops every non-hero Ranged Combat unit to 1 strength until Clear Weather is played.
There are 2 copies to collect. One is sold by the merchant in Claywich and the other by the merchant in Lindenvale, both in Velen.
