The White Flame shuts down the other leader. Its ability cancels your opponent’s leader ability, which takes away one of their tools for the whole match. Every deck runs exactly one leader, and an active leader ability can only be used once per match, so timing matters. Remember Nilfgaard’s faction perk too: you win any round that ends in a tie.
