King Bran is a Skellige leader whose ability halves the strength your units lose under bad weather, rather than dropping them to 1. That makes frost, fog and rain much less scary. The Skellige deck has its own perk as well: at the start of round three, 2 random units from your discard pile return to the battlefield.

Every deck has exactly one leader, and you only get to use an active leader ability once per match, so timing matters.
