Flare
Flare is a bomb in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Its damage is only 1-1, so it is not meant for fighting. Its purpose is to light up dark areas for a short while after it goes off.
That makes it a useful backup when Geralt has no Cat potion at hand, or when companions travelling with him need to see too. It weighs 0.5 and has a base price of 20 orens.
How to obtain
Brewed from 1 Vermilion and 1 Caelum with Formula: Flare, which is sold by Cedric, Earso (including Chapter 3) and Isidor Quay (Chapters 2 and 3).
