Virga
Virga is a defensive potion in The Witcher 2. While active it raises Geralt’s resistance to Bleeding, Incineration and Poisoning and improves his damage reduction, making monsters’ special attacks far less dangerous.
The trade-off is that his own chances to poison, cause bleeding and incinerate drop sharply while the potion works. It lasts 600 seconds and adds 30 Toxicity. Use it before fights against fire-breathing, venomous or bleed-inflicting creatures, and pair it with Wolf if lost offense matters.
How to obtain
Sold by the arena merchant. It can also be brewed from Formula: Virga with 1 Vitriol, 1 Caelum and 1 Quebrith; the formula is sold by Bartok, Marcus, Myron and Felicia Cori (Chapters 2 and 3).
