Benek is a tiny, isolated hamlet consisting of just a few ramshackle wooden huts located in the deep forests of southeastern Velen. The village is unique due to its highly eccentric elder, an old man known as the Soothsayer, who possesses genuine, prophetic visions triggered by consuming local root crops. The community lives a highly precarious existence, constantly threatened by roaming ghouls from nearby battlefields and ancient curses embedded in the surrounding wilderness, relying entirely on the old man’s cryptic visions for survival.
