Wolf
Wolves are some of the first enemies Geralt meets in The Witcher 3, starting in White Orchard. They hunt in packs and try to surround you. Bigger and tougher versions are the Warg and, in Blood and Wine, the Big Bad Wolf.
Combat strategy
Never let a pack surround you. Back up so they come one at a time, use fast attacks and swipe with Igni when several are close.
- Beast oil on the steel sword.
- Igni hits several wolves at once.
- Fight with your back to a wall or rock.
- Fast attacks are enough for most wolves.
- Signs Weakness: igni
- Oil Weakness: beast oil
