Werewolf
A werewolf is a person cursed to turn into a wolf-like beast. In The Witcher 3 they are cursed ones, and they regenerate quickly during the fight, which makes them dangerous for unprepared witchers.
The game has several named werewolves, such as Morkvarg in Skellige and the Beast of Honorton near Novigrad. Close relatives are the Ulfhedinn and the werebear.
Combat strategy
Moon Dust is the key: it stops a werewolf from regenerating. Throw it first, then attack. Igni deals good damage and burning stops its healing too.
- Cursed oil on the silver sword.
- Moon Dust to stop regeneration.
- Igni for damage and burning.
- Use fast attacks and dodge its lunges.
- Signs Weakness: igni
- Oil Weakness: cursed oil
- Bomb Weakness: moon dust
